how we can work together

I often use the language of intentions rather than goals because recovery isn’t linear. Together, we’ll focus on what feels supportive and meaningful right now, rather than measuring progress as a pass or fail. And if traditional goal-setting feels more helpful for you, we’ll adapt along the way. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here.

  • 01. Schedule a Discovery call

We’ll have a 15-minute video call to learn more about your nutrition needs, share a little about my philosophy and approach, and make sure we feel like a good fit before scheduling your initial nutrition assessment.

  • 02. initial nutrition assessment

Your initial nutrition assessment is approximately 75 minutes, allowing us time to learn more about you, your history, and your relationship with food and your body. We will talk through your medical and family history, medications and supplements, current and past experiences with food, body image, and disordered eating or eating disorder behaviors. We will also explore what you’d like to focus on together and identify your intentions for nutrition care, both in short and long-term.

  • 03. Follow-up sessions

Ongoing sessions are individualized based on your needs and may include:

    • Nutrition counseling & education

    • Progress on day-to-day nourishment

    • Medical nutrition therapy

    • Food & grocery planning

    • Eating disorder behaviors & patterns

    • Food exposures

    • The impact of body image on food intake

    • Incorporating therapeutic skills & strategies with food & eating patterns
